COMO AND LAKESIDE VILLAGES

h. 9.30 AM Meeting with a licensed speaking tourist guide in Como. Walking tour to the historical center in order to discover the jewels of that beautiful lakeside city. Founded by the Romans, it is surrounded by medieval walls on its three sides. The tour will include a pleasant walk along the lake, in order to enjoy the view of some villas and important rationalist style buildings and will continue towards the ancient core of the city, admiring some cute squares enriched with works of art. The Cathedral is its best-known monument, thanks to its Gothic and Renaissance features. Transfer by private car/minivan to Cadenabbia. The driving will be animated by some short stops during which the guide will give some general information about the surroundings and some cute lakeside villages, which dot the western shore of the lake. Transfer to Bellagio by ferryboat (public service). Time at your leisure for individual lunch, individual activities, or shopping. In the afternoon guided visit to Bellagio, “the pearl of the lake", situated on the tip of a promontory at the end of a mountainous chain where the lake forks. Transfer to Como by private car/minivan.
