A PRIVATE CRUISE ON LAKE MAGGIORE

h. 9.30 or 10.00 AM Meeting with a licensed tourist guide at Stresa, “the pearl of Lake Maggiore”. Leisurely and panoramic transfer by private taxi-boat from Stresa to the Borromean Islands to enjoy the panoramic view of the Borromean Gulf and of the two lakeshores. The first part of the cruise will be along the western lakeshore, in order to admire the parks and the buildings on Isola Madre from the lake itself. Dock on Isola Bella (Beautiful Island), the best-known among the Islands of the Borromean Gulf. Dock on Isola dei Pescatori (Fishermen’s Island) and time for a pleasant walk along its narrow lanes, discovering cute corners and shops. Individual lunch at one of the restaurants located on the two charming islands. The second part of the cruise will be along the eastern lakeshore, which is the deeper. The taxi boat will reach another jewel of the lake: the Hermitage of Santa Catherina del Sasso, a marvelous monastic complex perched on a rock. Guided visit to the monastery to have a complete view of a wonderful panorama. Back to Stresa by private taxi-boat.
