Departing from La Spezia, where you will meet your private guide. You will arrive to discover the Gulf of Poets. Passing through an area characterized by ancient villages  and breathtaking panoramas. The Gulf of Poets is a wide and deep inlet of the Ligurian Sea coast, along which are the well-known villages of Porto Venere and Lerici. It is classified as a true jewel of the Tyrrhenian Sea, precisely for its breathtaking views. Over the centuries many poets, writers and artists, choose to live in its villages since the beauty of that “water amphitheater” had captured them. First of all Dante Alighieri, then the writer David Herbert Lawrence, the poets Lord Byron and Percy Bysshe Shelley. The latter drowned here during a sudden storm in 1822.
For that reason, was Sam Benelli, a well-known italian playwright who made the Golfo dei Poeti famous as such-it. Like all the artists who lived in the Gulf, he too used to be inspired by looking at the sea from his villa at San Terenzo. Was August 30, 1910, when this name was born from his creativity.

CANCELLATION POLICY

In case of cancellation of the reservation made by the buyer on the site, Travel-Lab/BookYourItaly will apply the following terms:

• Up to 21 working days prior to the start of the activity: full refund of the service paid by the buyer;
• From 20 to 10 working days prior to the start of the activity: 50% refund of the price paid;
• From 9 to 0 days prior to the beginning of the activity or non-use by the buyer of the service: no refund.

For counting the days the following rules apply:
• The day of the activity is not counted;
• The days begin at 00.00 and end at 24.00 hours in the time zone in force in Italy (GMT +1).

The reimbursement by Travel-Lab/BookYourItaly will be made within 30 working days by crediting the credit card used.
