Walking Tour: Venice’s Historical Core
Begin your trip meeting your private local guide and start with an easy-soft walking tour through Venice, admiring the architecture of Palazzo Ducale, which was the residence of the Doge and the seat of government and the magistracy, with courts, prisons and armouries. Next to it there is the worldwide known Basilica, once the private chapel of the Doge and now the cathedral of the city, which holds the relics of Saint Mark the Evangelist. It is well-known for its domes and its bell-tower overlooking the homonymous square dotted with some historical elegant café, such as Florian.
