Discover Florence’s Green Core: Boboli And Bardini Gardens
From Ponte Vecchio, you will reach Oltrarno, on the opposite riverbank to reach the most important city green area: Boboli gardens, which extend from the hill behind Pitti Palace, belonged first to the Medici and then to the Lorraine families. After you have reached its highest part, you will stop to appreciate Fortezza Belvedere, a fortification built to protect the center of government in Florence and the Medici family if the city had been under attack, used by Galileo Galilei for his astronomical observations. Then you will enter the nearby Bardini Garden, walking along the baroque flight of steps and the wisteria tunnel, which both lead to the Kaffeehaus.
Finale: Piazzale Michelangelo Panorama
Your “detox” speed walk ends in Piazzale Michelangelo named by the remarkable Loggia in perfect neoclassical style, with the bronze statue of David by Michelangelo, surrounded by four allegories: night, day, twilight and dawn. From here, you cannot miss to take a photo of a postcard-like Florence, with its landmarks: the Dome by Brunelleschi, Giotto Tower, the Civic Tower, the Arno River and its bridges.

In the lobby of the Client’s hotel if it is in Florence downtown, otherwise the meeting will be at Piazza della Signoria in Florence. Please, let us know the name of your hotel.
