Meeting with a private driver at your hotel in Rome and transfer to the Papal estate by car/minivan. Known as Castel Gandolfo, it is placed 20 kilometers far from Rome in the countryside area of the Alban Hills. Its amazing and lucky position was already chosen by the Emperor Domitian for his summer villa and as Popes have been doing since the 16th century. A golf cart or a minivan will be arranged for you to explore the meticulously kept grounds including the roman amphitheater, the antiquarium and the crypto portico, one of the finest examples of landscaped gardens in Italy.

Your luxury culinary experience will start with the visit to the impressive organic farm, which covers 55 hectares and features stables, henhouses, orchards, gardens, citrus groves, a vineyard, a spices garden, an olive grove and a dairy. The farm also produces its own olive oil and dairy products, such as a tasty ricotta, one of the ingredients used during your cooking class.

After that panoramic tour, you will meet your professional chef, who will welcome you with a sparkling prosecco and with whom you will practice the traditional method of hand-made authentic fresh pasta as well as a scratch dessert, using all the fresh ingredients coming from the Pope’s farm itself. After your lunch, based on what you, yourself, have just prepared, you will meet your private licensed tour guide for an exclusive visit to the Papal Palace, including the Papal Apartments, rich in pieces of furniture and precious works of ar, and the magnificent sculpted Barberini Gardens.
Back to Rome by private car/minivan late in the afternoon.
