Lazise, olive oil and Bardolino wine

The mild climate which characterizes Lake Garda area allows the growth of two important local products: olives and grapes.
Thanks to this full-day tour, you will discover the south-eastern shore of the lake, rich in olive groves and vineyards, and have some stops to taste them.
Then on to Lazise, a nice medieval village, one of the pearls of the region.

You will meet your private licensed tourist guide at Sirmione or Desenzano del Garda. Transfer to Bardolino by private car/minivan.
Guided visit to the “Wine Museum”, built in 1991, which offers a rich experience in the history of viniculture and wine production. The visitor can admire ancient tools and machinery used for the grape harvest and vinification. At the end you will enjoy a wine tasting based on 2 different wines.

Transfer to the Olive Oil Museum by private car/minivan. An ancient, powerful lever press, some millstones, and screw presses and a reconstruction of a XIX century water mill are the highlights of that cute museum, which is a celebration of olive oil and trees, so famous in that geographical area. At the end of that visit you will enjoy a special olive oil and vinegar tasting with Grana Padano cheese.

Transfer to Lazise by private car/minivan, a cute small village placed on the eastern coast of Lake Garda.

Time at your leisure for individual lunch. Guided visit to the historical centre. Its actual shape dates back to the Scala Family age, when, from the end of XII century, the castle and its boundary walls were built. Among the monuments, the guided tour will include the Romanesque style St. Nicolò church and the Dogana, the customs house, used also as a small naval dockyard.

Time at your leisure for individual activities and shopping. Back to Sirmione or Desenzano del Garda by private car/minivan.

Meeting point: the meeting point with the tourist guide or the private driver will usually take place in the lobby of the Client’s hotel if it is in THE HISTORICAL CENTRE OF THE CITY WHERE THE TOUR STARTS. Please, let us know the name of your hotel.

In case the Client’s accommodation is distant from the historical centers or if you come from other departure places, different meeting points will be communicated after the confirmation of the tour.

On demand: transfer to-from other cities by car/minivan; different number of participants (from 1 to 10 or more); special services for disabled tourists.

CANCELLATION POLICY

In case of cancellation of the reservation made by the buyer on the site, Travel-Lab/BookYourItaly will apply the following terms:

• Up to 21 working days prior to the start of the activity: full refund of the service paid by the buyer;
• From 20 to 10 working days prior to the start of the activity: 50% refund of the price paid;
• From 9 to 0 days prior to the beginning of the activity or non-use by the buyer of the service: no refund.

For counting the days the following rules apply:
• The day of the activity is not counted;
• The days begin at 00.00 and end at 24.00 hours in the time zone in force in Italy (GMT +1).

The reimbursement by Travel-Lab/BookYourItaly will be made within 30 working days by crediting the credit card used.
