Starting from the historical city centre,your excursion will pass through the picturesque Old Appian Road with its characteristic and soothing natural scenery, aqueducts and the magnificent ruins of Imperial Rome as far as Castel Gandolfo, the Pope’s summer residence, with a fantastic panorama and overlooking Lake Albano, a small volcanic crater lake nestled among the homonymous hills . Then you will reach the small village of Frascati for a private visit to a wine farmhouse, where you will enjoy a tour through the old vineyards and you will be shown the same old farming techniques that the family owner has been adopting for centuries. You will visit the old wine cellar, where you will be introduced to the secrets and the historic wine-making processes of the famous Frascati wine, listening to the stories and experiences of that historic land, surrounded by ancient vineyards and olive groves. After the visit, you will have a special tasting based on three types of wine and on an extra virgin olive oil.
