Saint John’s night is coming!

On 23rd June, in Parma and its valleys (from the “lowlands to the “highlands”) a deeply rooted tradition requires to celebrate this feast by eating a dish of tortelli, a local fresh pasta filled with herbs or potatoes. A lot of open air dinners will be organized with live music and local songs, waiting for the dew of night… People believe it brings good luck for the following year and for the harvest of nuts, grapes, tomatoes and so on…
